Megan is a Jersey born Physiotherapist and completed her degree at the University of Plymouth this year. She chose a career in physiotherapy as she loved how rewarding it could be to help people to achieve their goals through exercise and rehabilitation.
Throughout her studies she experienced placements in a range of different physiotherapy specialities across the South West of England including working in two MSK outpatient departments where she enjoyed treating and assessing patients and coming up with specific treatment plans to help get them back to their pre-injury level.
She is also Sports Massage qualified and have volunteered at running events and competitions giving pre and post event massage to athletes in order to make sure they feel ready to compete and then to aid in their recovery after the competition.
Outside of physiotherapy, Megan is a keen sailor and have competed in a number of Hobie Cat-16 events in Jersey over the past year, including more recently racing to the Minquiers and back! Megan competes most weekends, weather dependent, and is hoping to compete in the Hobie 16 World Championships next May. She is also a qualified Dinghy Instructor so enjoy teaching sailing during the summer holidays. For all things ‘on the water’ Megan is well suited to your injuries.
