With the amazing help of Nigel and Lisa after slipping a disc in early June 2018, they had me back up on my feet and moving again within 6 weeks with their professional, kind and encouraging approach. The 1:1 physio sessions with Lisa were amazing. She was always professional, knowledgeable and understanding, resulting in benefits being seen from the outset. The pilates classes with Nigel and Kelly were challenging yet very enjoyable; they adapted exercise so that the session was inclusive.
Following this event and with help and guidance from Lisa and Nigel, I joined a fantastic running group and managed to complete a C25K all which helped me get my confidence back. In keeping up the pilates classes and being supported and guided by Nigel, I started doing longer runs completing my first ever half marathon distance in June 2020. I know that a lot of this has been down to the constant help and advice from Nigel, Lisa and Kelly.
In 2020, I joined Luke, Nigel and Caitlin's 'Running Strengthening and Conditioning' classes, which are very challenging and hard work, but I come out feeling so good. With their help and guidance, I went on to complete 5 virtual Half Marathons; each time getting a new PB.
This year I have a much bigger challenge in sight and - I am condiment that with the continued help from the whole team at Jersey Sports and Spinal Clinic, through the 1:1 physio sessions with Lisa, Pilate classes with Nigel and Kelly, and Strengthening and Conditioning classes with Luke and Caitlin, I know I'll achieve my goals.
The whole team are amazing! I can't recommend them enough; they all really have a deep understanding and thorough knowledge of their specialist areas. They are most importantly, friendly, approachable and easy to talk to. They are my first port of call when I have an injury. Thank you to the whole team for your continued support, help and guidance.
